Baby Smiles

Today when I put Scarlett down for both her naps, she startled awake, focused on my face, smiled at me, then slowly closed her eyes and drifted into a peaceful sleep. 

There has never been anything that has made me feel more important or loved.  Except maybe when Nevin did it to me, but I can't remember those moments, so this time around I'm recording it. 

It reminds me of these pictures I took of Scarlett way back when she was two weeks old.  Ahhh.... love.
